Arriving from Tarbes
Pass the city limit sign, go on straight ahead in direction of the
town-centre. 300 m after the first traffic light, take the first street
on the right towards the hospital (sign-posted). You are on the «
avenue de la Fontaine Ferrugineuse » heading towards the mountain. At
the end of the street, at the foot of the mountain, there is a
crossing, you go neither to the right, nor to the left, nor straight
ahead (steep street), but in front of you, sideways, on the left. You
go up through the Vergès park and you can see in front of you the
house, identifiable by its Basque red shutters.
Arriving from Toulouse
Pass the city limit sign, go on straight ahead in direction of the
town-centre. Cross the Adour river, continue until you come to a
traffic light, with the church on your right. Enter the left lane and
continue in the same direction. At the next traffic light, same story,
continue in the same general direction (boulevard Carnot). At the end
of the boulevard in front of you, you can see the Casino, but before
you get to it, you will turn right towards the hospital (sign-posted)
into the « rue Gambetta ». At the end of the street, turn left. You are
on the « avenue de la Fontaine Ferrugineuse » and you are heading
towards the mountain. At the end of the street, at the foot of the
mountain, there is a crossing, you go neither to the right, nor to the
left, nor straight ahead (steep street), but in front of you, sideways,
on the left. You go up through the Vergès park and you can see in front
of you the house, identifiable by its Basque red shutters.
